IT Dashboard is an online resource enabling federal agencies, industry, the general public and other stakeholders to view details of federal
information about technology investments.
The purpose of Dashboard is to provide information on
the effectiveness of government IT programs, to support decisions regarding
the investment and management of resources. Dashboard is now being used by
the Administration and Congress to make budget as well as policy decisions.

According to an Open Government Initiative for President
Obama's administration, Data.gov increases the ability of the public to easily
find, download and use datasets that are generated by the Federal Government. Data.gov provides descriptions of the Federal datasets (metadata), information about how to access the datasets and tools that leverage
government datasets.

Challenge
is an online platform administered by the U.S.
General Services Administration (GSA) in partnership with ChallengePost that
empowers the U.S. Government and the public to bring the best ideas and top
talent to bear on the nation’s most pressing challenges. This platform
is the latest milestone in the Administration’s commitment to use prizes and
challenges to promote innovations.

e-Governance & e-Government projects, powered by the UNDP Asia-Pacific Development
Information Programme (APDIP), are increasingly being emphasized as ways for
governments to strengthen good governance. If implemented strategically
e-governance can not only improve efficiency, accountability and transparency of government processes, but it can also be tool to empower citizens by enabling them to participate in the decision-making processes of governments.
