diverse and thriving. In contrast to USA where Facebook almost supresses all other social network sites (SNS), China's landscape is represented by many players. There are many networks for different users (urban, rural) and

Nexopia has borne in the dark of cold Edmonton winter only to rise to become Canada's largest social networking site for youth. With over 1.2
million members and hundreds of new accounts created every day, Nexopia
is quickly solidifying its reputation as the online place for teens.

Nasza Klasa is the largest Polish social networking service, bringing together school students and alumni. Launched in November 2006, the
service has over 27 million registered users. It is owned by Forticom
(70%) and polish Nasza Klasa Sp.z.o.o. (30%), the founding company. The site is similar in concept to the American based Classmates, allowing its users to register from particular schools and graduation years.
