Coalition for Networked Information (CNI) is an organization dedicated to supporting the transformative promise of networked
information technology for the advancement of scholarly communication
and the enrichment of intellectual productivity. About 200 institutions
representing higher education, publishing, networks, telecommunications, information technologies, libraries and library
organizations make up CNI's Members.
Main goal of project Scientific Information Exchange (SciX) is to demonstrate that the Internet enables new business models for scientific publishing process that are much more cost and time efficient to scientific community, funding
agencies as well the industry.
Electronic Information for Libraries (eIFL.net) is not for profit organisation that supports for the wide availability of electronic resources by library users in
transitional and developing countries.
